Description

The first print run consisted of 5,150 copies only (Errington: 187), divided into two states. By common opinion the second state is a bit less rare than the first state, although according to Errington the difference in printed copies must be minimal: 2,500 versus 2,650 copies. This copy has light marginal browning, neat ink ownership inscription to front free endpaper, price sticker to front pastedown, original pictorial boards, slight shelf-lean, minor bumping to head and foot of upper joint, dust-jacket, spine a little sunned, very slight creasing to spine ends, otherwise excellent.
