The Waves, First edition 1931, original purple cloth, sunning to head and portion of spine, dust-jacket, worn with loss to head of spine and lower portion of spine lacking with upper fold split, some foxing as usual, [cf. Kirkpatrick A16a], 8vo, Hogarth Press, 1931. It is the writer's most experimental novel, being structured in the form of soliloquies of the six protagonists of the story.
